Living Keys Receives £14,300 From National Lottery

Living Keys is celebrating today after being awarded £14,300 in National Lottery funding to support its work helping women who have gone through domestic abuse and violence.

The new funding means the charity can continue its vital mission to support and empower women who have experienced abuse with free courses, workshops and drop-in services. This support also enables the charity to raise awareness of domestic violence in rural areas of Peterborough and beyond, making a tangible difference in these communities.

Linda Huskisson, Founder and CEO of Living Keys, says: “We’re delighted that The National Lottery Community Fund has recognised our work in this way. Now, thanks to National Lottery players, we will be able to continue empowering those who have gone through abuse with free courses and a safe place to socialise and feel heard.

“Thank you to all those who support the Lottery Community Fund and to everyone who donates to this great cause. We are eternally grateful for this funding and are equipped again to make a difference in our community.”

Living Keys was founded in 2021 and has supported over 400 women so far, thanks to the help of its strong team of volunteers.
